DESCRIPTION DES ENSEIGNEMENTS

Chemistry and properties of soft porous structures:
biodegradable polymers, vesicles and dendrimers.

6 hours
Mesoporous silica how to synthesize and characterize zeolites and mesoporous silica. In particular hydrothermal and sol gel synthesis, characterization using SAXS, nitrogen absorption, SEM, TEM, TGA.

Mesoporous carbon, metal oxides: synthesis and characterization.

4 hours
Using the pores for confinement: molecules inside the capsules, emerging properties and self-assembly in confined spaces.

Electronic and photonic properties of self-assembled molecules:
Change in the properties of self-assembled organic and organometallic systems: pushing supramolecular chemistry for new properties.

Electrical and magnetic properties in porous material: how can we measure electrical or magnetic properties of molecules inside pores?

Hybrid assemblies:  living systems and porous nanoparticles, can silica materials entrap living systems?
