In the framework of rectors and principals of the Quebec universities Conference (CREPUQ), Quebec universities  have established syllabus of exchange students with more than 500 institutions or consortia of academic institutions outside the Canada.


  • Participating students do fulfilling of registration laws in their home University in which they are properly registered.
  • If so, they continue to receive financial assistance to which their student status entitles them in their institution of origin.
  • The transportation and subsistence expenses are borne by the participants as the various expenses (administrative and health insurance, for example) that may be required by the welcome institution.
  • Usually, academic institutions doesn't issue diploma to students that they welcome in the CREPUQ exchange programs.
  • Credits obtained during the semester or abroad year of study benefit from completing the degree in the University of origin.
